Lily, Asian –
Easy to grow plants, a colorful addition to the landscape. “”Liliums”” are the true lilies. True lilies have stiff stems with relatively narrow strap-like leaves from top to bottom. Large showy flowers develop at the top of each stem. Once these plants have bloomed, they won’t flower again until the following year. Blooms the middle of summer.
These are compact, dwarf plants. Unscented. They have large, upward facing flowers with glossy green leaves. The dwarf habit makes them useful near the front of any sunny border. Bred in the Netherlands for more blooms, improved color and stronger stems.
These petals are a bright yellow with a burgundy red center and freckles.
