Yarrow – Sun-loving ‘Moonshine’ yarrow echos false sunflower’s striking yellow color but provides contrast with its flat flower heads.
Blue oat grass – For an informal meadow mood, plant blue oat grass in front of false sunflower for softness and complementary color.
