Delosperma dyeri ‘Orange’

Iceplant

0752 Most of these plants are from South Africa. They’re a tight mat forming groundcover. Thick fleshy shiny green leaves that may be rounded, flattened or angled. Blooms open around midday and close in the evening, only last one day. These plants are heavy blooming, tough succulents. Drought tolerant. Blooms late spring to summer. Deer resistant.

A continuous display of neon orange red flowers smother the large succulent foliage throughout the growing season to create a dazzling groundcover on slopes or in borders. Extremely drought tolerant.

Coreopsis – The airy yellow daisies of ‘Moonbeam’ coreopsis look outstanding dancing above a carpet of hardy ice plant. Both handle hot, sunny, dry conditions well.
Veronica – The upright spires of spike speedwell create a striking contrast to the low, creeping mat of hardy ice plant.
Sedum – The succulent foliage of ‘Blue Spruce’ sedum mimics that of hardy ice plant but in a finer texture.
