Planting Instructions
This cool season grass is widely grown in the western US where it thrives in full sun, low humidity, and cool night conditions. It is native to high elevation clearings in the mountains of central and southern Europe where it thrives in rocky, very well-drained soils of average to poor fertility. In richer soils, this plant grows floppy and weak. It is remarkably drought tolerant once established. Divide in early spring if desired.
