Mexican Feather Grass –
Mexican Feather Grass grows in tight clumps and makes a perfect accent in containers, along a border, or your rock garden. The grass grows a mound of slender hairlike leaves with yellow flowers that turn to wisps of tan by late summer. Mexican Feather Grass is soft and silky in appearance and to the touch.

Mexican Feather Grass
False sunflower – The yellow centered, cream daisies of false sunflower combine well with the fine texture of Mexican feather grass all summer in sunny borders.
Sedum – The rather stiff purple stems with flattish heads of pink flowers of Matrona sedum play off well against delicate Mexican feather grass in sunny dry gardens.
Stoke’s aster – The lavender blue, bachelors-button type flowers of Stoke’s aster bloom over the same period as giant feather grass and they make fine companions.
